Progression

Progression is a conceptional idea/event to promote the Graphic Design and Digital Communication BA (Hons) degree course at the University Centre Colchester. This idea consists of multiple disciplines (graphic design, curation, videography) and was created by myself and four others. This project enabled me to work with and learn from other students who had different skill sets than my own.

The idea involves a box, which is created, containing current and alumni student work along with merchandise and a short video. This could then be sent to surrounding secondary schools to show them about our course. A week long exhibition would then be held to display the box and students work.
Above is the whole product that was produced, it consists of four folders which contain examples of work from 2nd year, 3rd year, and two alumni students. The box in the centre will hold all the items including, a tote bag, posters and a small box in which a memory stick containing a short video about the course will be placed.
Poster/Flyer designed to promote the private view of the exhibition.
The exhibition space consisted of two smaller spaces where we spread the work out using the idea of the letters on the folders on the wall as sections for the work to be presented in. The video that was produced was projected on a wall and the product itself was displayed in a clear topped table. A private viewing was hosted with great success.
